Even though it has always been a very local event, GC Leipzig grew and attracted more attention than any other video game show in Europe. There were some noticeable absences (Nintendo) but major players (like Sony) were keen to demonstrate their new products. The star of the show was, of course, Little Big Planet. Next year the venue will head for Hamburg so it is with some sadness that we say farewell to Leipzig.
