Bruno Patatas was present at the Nordic Game 2008, one of the largest gatherings of European video game developers.
The clear trend is mobile and with the i-Phone hype gaining momentum. Besides establishing firmly the respective roles of publishers and developers in this industry, the key focus of the event is on production, managing asset pipeline and creative and programming teams. Japanese developers were also there sharing best work practices but pointing out the technology lag that currently favours the west.

MEDIACI’s very first Open Innovation Lab (OiL 1.01) took place during the World Media Economics Conference in Lisbon with a clear objective: “Defining the Key Drivers for European Media Businesses, 2020″.

This partnership establishes an innovative licensing deal for the development of a Nintendo Wii videogame by Biodroid, based on the content of the children’s novela Chiquititas. This novela is an original creation of Cris Morena and is currently being produced and broadcasted by SIC, in Portugal.

In a move to be nearer to its community, Biodroid announces the creation of an Official Biodroid Creator Blog on Club.IGN and of a Biodroid’s Facebook page.With this, Biodroid aims to be present where its partners, gamers and friends are, talk and share and makes clear its commitment to be directly involved and in tune with the gaming community. IGN and Facebook are clearly the current tools which have better taken advantage of the potential to be gleaned from networks of various stripes.

With broadband having become something of a near ubiquitous utility for a sizable percentage of the US, Europe, Asia, and places elsewhere, it’s the perfect timing for an interactive-media company like Biodroid to make a significant impression on the Web 2.0 scene.
