We couldn’t miss SF. The gaming world converges once a year to this unique city on the East Coast and you can really feel the strength of this entertainment industry that grows and evolves like (almost) no other.Biodroid, represented by Bruno Patatas and Tiago Ribeiro, was at booth 104 in GC and we held there more than 25 meetings with publishers and other developers in 2 and ½ days. Phewww…! We had our Chiquititas demo at the Emergent Stand and there were good reviews from those who saw the innovative way in which we are using the Gamebryo engine in the Wii platform. The Expo was also worth a visit: Motion Capture was king, with Brainwave Helmets being used as remote controllers and ‘Other Cool Stuff’ making us very optimistic on the pending revolution of gaming and user created content in the next few years.

TR: “S. Francisco’s GDC is an essential event for the gaming industry. Every year it gains scale as several important deals and announcements are made during, or shortly after, this event. This year it was, once again, packed and lively and, in every aspect, worthwhile. “I’ll be back””.

You bring them together for a couple of days and discuss the future of content and entertainment in the digital world. The conclusion? The future is open and there are countless reasons to be optimistic… if you dare to innovate!”

This year Barcelona was all about content and mobile advertising. Ricardo Flores saw their latest solutions on mobile content management and communities, and also how to introduce advertising in the mobile world.

New solutions and developments are happening every day but it is fair to single out the upcoming Symbian OS functionalities, the new N-Gage, the great new tools for creating and manage mobile websites and applications, and also the EDGELIB Mobile Game Engine or the EyeMobile Game engine as the main stars of the event.
