Wii Gameplay Programmer
Responsibilities
• Implement gameplay-related functionality including controls, dialogs, puzzles, mini-games, etc using C++
• Implement front end and menu systems, NPC interactions and various other scripted events
• Implement special behaviors in various game scenarios according to story specifications and gameplay needs
• Work closely with designers and tool engineers to create gameplay features using C++
• Implement gameplay systems and refine as needed
• Test and refine gameplay features throughout the development cycle of the project
Requirements
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, maintainable code
• Demonstrated ability to work with designers and artists
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred skills & experience
• Game industry experience in a design or programming position is a plus
• B.S. in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
Wii Programmer
Requirements
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
• At least 3 years experience in game development.
• Broad experience / knowledge of all areas of development of game code.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a creative team.
• Ability to work with artists to make sure that can get the most out of the technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:
• Experience working on consoles, in particular Wii.
• Worked on a shipped title is a plus.
DS Programmers
Requirements:
• Intelligent, motivated person with a passion for games
• Highly proficient in C++ and object-oriented design
• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment where collaborative
design and structured code architecture are the norm
• Positive attitude and ability to take direction and receive criticism
• Ability to meet deadlines under tight production schedules
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS development experience is a big plus
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
PSP Lead Programmer
Responsibilities:
• Lead a programming team in designing, implementing and debugging code for a PSP game
• Work with the team’s producer and other leads to prepare and manage project schedules
• Collaborate with other lead programmers to develop and share new technology
• Collaborate with other talented teammates to create great games
Requirements:
• Fluent in C/C++ programming with excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Implement AI, player controls or other interactions
• Schedule and scope programming task
• Oversee programming team to ensure coding standards and completion of tasks
• Work closely with the members of the team to ensure design and quality expectations are met
• Passionate about games and creative problem solving
• Document and scheduling requirements for project
• Provides assistance to less experienced programming team members and others on the production team. Delegate where appropriate.
• Excellent communications skills
XBOX 360 Programmer
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of games industry experience, or shipped one or more console titles
• Years of experience with C/C++ programming
• Able to work closely with technical artists
• Ability to both implement and port technology
• Experience in optimizing for the Xbox 360 platform
• Ability to ensure that Microsoft technical certification requirements are met
• Ability to work independently and be selfdriven
• Experience working with a cross-platform engine.
• A strong understanding of software engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability at successful multi tasking under considerable pressure
• An avid gamer with strong interest in pushing the industry forward creatively.
